Tufts did extend their deadline, right? I got an email from "[email protected]" saying that the application deadline is extended, but a) it's not from a Tufts email address and b) the reasoning was circular ("Because we will receive and process applications for the rest of this week and into next week, we have extended the deadline to Monday morning, November 6, at 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time.")
In case you didn't get the email, here it is:
We know that many, many of you are hard at work on your Tufts application for admission. We've received numerous calls with questions about the deadline to submit an application.
Because we will receive and process applications for the rest of this week and into next week, we have extended the deadline to Monday morning, November 6, at 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time. (This allows you some time to go "trick or treating"!) You can submit your application anytime before 9:00 am on November 6.
Once you submit your application, you will be able to track its status using our electronic application management system. But please be patient! It will be a while before we can update all applicants' records with what has been received in our office, i.e., transcripts, letters of evaluation.
