Tufts Dental First Year Schedule

What's the Schedule like? I want to know when I have to get to NEMC and when I can expect to leave for home.

Hi Dr Pheta,

Tufts should have already sent you a 2 page list outlining the dates of the holidays, when school starts, etc.

If you didnt receive it, the first dates you should know are that Orientation runs Aug 26-29 and classes start the following week.

You should also check out their website which has a monthly calander and a detailed class schedule.

Cool, seems like I'll be able to leave my door at 8 ish and be home around 6. Hot...my dog won't be by himself for too long, then.

Check out the reply I wrote to your forum in pre-dental section.

Call Donna Carey of student affairs for your calendar. Orientation starts the 26 th and classes on the 2nd. The calendar thats online is not correct.....refer to the calendar that was sent out in may or june. See you all in a month.

I'm thinking you want a day to day schedule, right? Look in your interview book if you still have it--it starts on p. 37 in mine (the blue one.)

Looks like for the first semester:

M: 9-4:30
T: 10-4:30
W: 9-4:30
Th: 9-4:30
F: 9-3

Is this what you needed? If not, let me know, I have all of the mailings filed away somewhere and can look info up no problem for ya!

HOT!!! That's the info I was lookin for. I finally found that interview book everyone was talkin bout. Forgot where I put it...but it's the same as what's on the website.

Kudos. Now I get to leave home at 8 and go home at 4:30! My dog will be happy bout that.

Well Well Well, I hope u guys r not relying on the time that is alloted by the school, as I assure u guys that u will all be in school for way more than that, so better get prepared, as it just goes down hill from here....

Well the typical day at Tufts for the first semester is gonna be long and gruelsome, as u gonna be in the lab a lot of times doing wax-ups , going to gross labs to look at the cadavers and learning the good old gross anatomy, so I would say that u would be pretty much occupied with doing those kinda stuff. But definately u will have time to work out, go out, if thas ur priority instead having a little extra rest... so it all depends on u
