Hey there Yakuza,

your application was super late. Not super late for tufts to consider, but late in terms of they probably got to other applications before yours. Tufts thoroughly goes through everyone's application, and unless your interviewing in late feb-march, you are not interviewing for an alternate spot. The time your application was complete and sent off to Tufts they had already received close to 5000 applications, and now even more to this date. Just wait it out, you are likely to get a post-dec interview.

I went to the Tufts interview today and they told us that 60-70% of interviewees get accepted. Only 10% get rejected. Rest get placed in "hold" or "waiting list."

So if you got an interview>> :hardy:

GL everyone, and I hope you get accepted into your top choice😀

I just got an email inviting me for an interview....

any pointers about tufts?

The same pointers for Tufts goes for any school. Be yourself and don't try to memorize responses. Also, as usual, know your application well.

Tufts was really laid back. My interview was extremely conversational, no pressure at all. Obviously be able to respond to "Why Tufts? Why dentistry?", but other than that just know your application. Ask a few questions if you have any, too...I think my interviewer talked/responded at least as much as I did.
