So, I checked my email this morning hoping to hear some good news from UCSF, and I found an interview invitation from Tufts. Anyone else get an interview from them today? I thought it was kinda random. Anyways, I am probably going to go to it, although it did cross my mind to decline. Anybody have any info on Tufts program, the city of Boston, and how their facilities/faculty are??

hey how did they contact you? email or aadsas?
good luck on your interview.

yep got the email too! Was able to get January 11th for my date 🙂

I really wasn't expecting it at all, it was definitely a nice surprise in my email this morning 🙂

dates offered were jan 11-14, but I'm not going....got my number one NYU acceptance already so hopefully that'll open up a spot for one of you guys👍

Tufts is amazing! I loved the school, the city, and the facilities are fantastic. I was accepted there, but I chose to stay in state at University of Washington. If I wouldn't have been accepted to UW I definitely would have went to Tufts. It is a great school. I would not pass up going on an interview there. You'll be really impressed by the school...

I had the same thoughts about Tufts. I interviewed there in mid-November and was surprised at how much the school offered! I DEFINITELY would not miss a chance to visit the school and the city of Boston, especially if you don't have many other options at this point. Like I've told everyone, if I could move Boston and Tufts closer to where I currently live, I would go there in a heartbeat! They have a huge class size of 160, but it didn't feel like you would be just a number. Good luck with making the decision to interview!

I agree as well. Tufts really is amazing and everyone is so nice. I was accepted as well, but I think I may have to turn down the offer because I was accepted to my state school, which is half the tuition of Tufts. If I didn't get into my state school I would have definitely gone to Tufts.

everywhere you interview the faculty and students will be pleasant and welcoming, but at Tufts even the patients were really welcoming and nice. Great people.

I got accepted into my state school too but I still think Tufts is a better choice because of the facilities, reputation, and curriculum and environment. I had a blast on my interview there and I really think the new clinics and labs will be great.

did n.e of you guys got accepted to tufts and took some of the Pre-req from a 2 yr college?.. just wondering b/c i saww on another thread that Tufts are really really strict on their academic requirements!.

I just deposited at Tufts. It is a great school. I loved Boston and the facilities there. I know that feeling about interviews after acceptances but Tufts was really great. If you want to know more feel free to PM me.
