Most of their cohort is premed. They don’t accept many predental students

accepted! This year they're starting the DMD linkage in case anyone doesn't know yet.

Does anybody know how difficult the program is? I've heard that it is quite rigorous, but to what extent since a 3.2 GPA is the minimum for an interview

typically these SMP programs are difficult/rigorous, more so because you should be taking some of the same courses as the medical/dental students. Usually, they accept lower GPA students, something around 3.0-3.2 like you stated as that gpa is low for dental schools and this is a way to show dental schools your academic improvement. If you have a >3.5 gpa this isn't a program for you as you don't necessarily need it as a 3.5 is closer to the national average.
