Hi. Tufts require an LOR from a Biology prof. My question is, how will they know that the letter is from a biology prof. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I think it's pretty standard for a professor to mention what class you took from him. Hopefully you're just trying to clarify this for yourself, and not trying to figure out if you can lie 😛

And if not, the letterhead is sure to give it away.

If they are smart enough to teach a course, one would suspect that they have an idea of how/on what an lor is written.

I haven't seen the new electronic submission system that AADSAS set up, but I'm sure they probably incorporated something that ensures the legitimacy of the letter so that dental schools know it's the real deal.

Does anyone know if this letter has to be from a general biology professor only? Would a letter from my microbiology professor suffice?
