Hey again,

I just got an interview here and was wondering if there wa anyone out there with information about the program. The scutwork reviews were all a bit old (from 2001), and it seems as though they have added a night float system and taken some of the strain off the interns. Any info about life at tufts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I interviewed there last year and was very impressed with the program and the program director. Their services are broken down specialty based--so if you are someone who has the mentality of a specialist this may be attractive on the alternative if you are interested in general practice this may be less desireable. They touted excellent fellowship placement. I think Tufts may suffer a little bit from being the "little brother" of the other big boys in Boston. I can not comment on the pathology seen there as opposed to Brigham, MGH, and BID though. I interviewed at all of these places and felt that while Tufts may not have been the most academic, I could have been happy there, definetly the most friendly place of the four I listed. In the end Boston just wouldn't have worked for me. I don't think you could go wrong with Tufts albeit my experience was very limited.

:luck:

Thanks you so much for the reply. I was wondering if you got a sense of if the housestaff was happy with the overall experience, and if they were able to maintain a life there. By the way, if u dont mind me asking, where did you match, and are you happy?

Thanks again for the response!
