Tufts Recommendation Letters

I read on their website that they require a letter from a dentist who has specified at least 30 hours or more of shadowing hours.

I have shadowed with a dentist for 60 hours, and they submitted their req letter to my school's interfolio like system.

Has anyone sent Tufts a letter without verifying if their dentist specified the number of hours?

I think you can send them a seperate signed letter verifiying the hours

I did neither, but things may have changed since last year. You may be better off calling to ask if you can get through. Tufts tends to be pretty strict about things you might not expect.
