I go to a dentist in the Tufts faculty practice so I end up with students on my way to the 8th floor.(Student classes and clinics are on the lower floor.) They are in such a rush to get to class or they are so focused at what they are doing that I find it hard to talk to them(usually they are talking among themselves it just feels weird trying to talk to them when they are like that).

Tufts is a great school. I am in my first year and really like it there. I think you get an amazing education...both didactic and clinical. It's very expensive but most come out prepared and ready to work rather than having to do a GPR so the tuition spread probably equals out in the end. The teachers care about what they're doing and there's a nice sense of community. I highly recommend taking a look.

thanks.
i'm a 2nd year student at tufts, and even though I have 7 exams next week, the school isnt that bad really. 1st year was a lot of work, but worth it. 2nd year however, is a whole different animal. They cram you with 10 classes, and the exam blocks just get worse and worse. By may, the boards will be over and I'll be in the clinic. Like all schools, some of the professors are great and some just shouldnt be teaching, but overall, I would recommend it for a prospective student.

What's the average time you leave the school for home?
Thanks!

During first year, I had more time to live a normal life, like a 9 to 8 kind of day, but 2nd year, i'm pretty much at school by 9, gone by 10pm. When you dont have exams, life seems more normal though.
