I got accepted at Tufts with merit scholarship and VCU. I am Virginia resident.

Which school will better prepare me to specialize oral surgery or other specialities.
I know cost is a huge issue, but I am certain that I will be specalizing so want to attend the school which can prepare me better.

How do you guys think? I really would like to hear from those of you who are attending these schools or applying for specialties.

At the Tufts interview, they give you detailed stats about how many of their grads specialize. I would suggest looking at that. Tufts is wicked expensive. If you are smart enough and have the work ethic to specialize, it doesn't matter where you go. I would choose VCU, though.

If VCU is less expensive. Take that w/o a doubt. Whether you specialize or not does not depend on the school. Your class rank/grades/ECs are much more important and these are all factors independant of the school you choose to attend.
