Hey everyone,
For those attend expensive schools like MSU COM out of state, how are you gathering enough funds for tuition asides bank/federal loans?

Thanks

I believe MSU gives out scholarships for OOS to help with the cost of the tuition. I'm not sure, but I've heard that a few times.

You take out loans, lots of loans. Medical schools tend to give out relatively little in terms of grants and scholarships. The best way to save is to go to a cheap school. LECOM is 28k OOS, some schools charge in the high 40s for OOS and it all adds up.

That is true for most DO schools, but MSU specifically has been linked to giving out scholarships to OOS students to bring the cost down. I would contact the admissions department or a current MSU student.
