When I called them, they told me they send that automated email to each applicant every week until a decision is made. So if you are getting that email, it means you are still in contention.

Haha i got that email once, and got a rejection letter in the mail a few days later dated to the same day. They didn't take very long to figure out exactly what they wanted to do with my file!

Yes I got mine this week and it is true it seems like they do sometimes skip a week. I know I have gotten them every friday for several months now but have missed at least or two fridays for whatever reason. So if they forget about you don't immediately assume it is a rejection.

I know they interview into March, but I dunno how far into March or anything about the time frame for invites.

yeah, every Friday morning they let me know they remember me... or their automatic system does.
still it feels better than the silence from some other schools 👍 (say, in Rosalind Franclin my file was complete in October and still no word...)

I think I read somewhere on SDN that someone was told that they're not giving out interviews past 1/15. hopefully that rumor is just that, and holds no water.

I've been complete for four months now, getting those emails every Friday morning. Yehaw. All I can say is that it's hope that I've made another week of not being rejected...

lol... i feel your pain. i just got one yesterday, like my one-thousandth or so--and I'm definitely starting to feel like this.

Then again, the way I look at it, every week I'm "under review" is still one week I have a chance to go to Tulane, so I'm trying to stay optimistic.

They're screwing with us! I mean, if you're gonna send an email, it's gotta be at the same time every week. Like VCU, they're always on time at 6:03pm.....

I wonder when their last set of invites will be sent out...I know they interview until (through?) March but that doesn't tell us much about how many more weeks we might have hope left.

Looking back through all the update e-mails I have received, I see that they sent it at noon one time, so this isn't unprecedented...haha.

i just stumbled across this thread - i had been so curious about these emails too. i have gotten one every friday for the past couple months, it seems - usually sent around 8-9 am EST, but last week's was 11-something. I have not yet received one today.

i didn't get one either but I am sure i will get one even if i'll get a rejection they'll still keep on sending them...

I didnt get one either. I think I said this earlier on a Tulane thread, the secretary whom i spoke to mid december accidentally told me that they will be finishing their interviews by mid to end of jan. maybe thats why we didnt get an email.
