I've noticed that Tulane's pediatrics program has quite a few FMGs. I was surprised by this because the program is impressive (no offense to FMGs). Can anyone try to explain this phenomenon? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Lots of the mid-tier primary care specialty programs have several FMGs. For Tulane specifically, its probably the combination of proximity to the Gulf, and the fact that its the #2 program in a smaller market.
