Is this school alive?? I called the admissions office and the lady said my application is still under review with the comittee (2 months now), but that i should be "hearing something soon". Is this good or bad?? Or am i just freaking out??

I was complete since September. I hadn't heard anything until just about a week ago. Yes. The school is alive.

For me "hearing something soon" meant that I had an interview there.

I was complete on Nov.13 so it's about 2 months as well. Also, when I called I got the same "hear something soon". Well, hope it's good for you and me. Cheers.

im a reapplicant and tulane was among the first schools i got rejected to...around october!!

don't really know what to think though; the delay could either be good news; or just a delay because we took the aug. mcat...

When did you call, did you take the august mcat? Are they allowed to say that on the phone? WHen were you complete?

i didn't think they could say you were rejected on the phone.

i just got the ambiguous "you should be hearing something soon statement" and it looks to me like that's what they say to everyone who calls.

called tulane today 1/16 and was told that I'm on hold. Hope everyone else got good news. The admission office is quite polite might I add. Cheers!

rumor has it tulane is rather anti-august mcat. if you august mcaters are really interested in the school, i'd suggest a letter of interest.

I was complete around the end of September and didn't hear back until the beginning of December, with an interview next week. They took a really long time, but hey, at least I got an interview.

I took the MCAT in August of 2002 and am at Tulane now. I had my application, inlcuding secondary completed WAYYYY before MCAT scores were released, and got my interview notification around the end of November.

i took aug mcat. i called the other day. they offered an interview. anyone know the chances of getting in after an interview?

I called last week on thursday, and WAS told over the phone that I would be receiving a letter of non-acceptance soon, and I got the paper confirmation in the mail on sat.

man, im really hoping for an interview here...ive been complete since late october, and have called up a few times, with "still in review" response
