+1 OOS Rejection
When did y'all submit? I submitted on 7/17 and have yet to hear back so I'm assuming no news is good news atp?

I'm confused about the II hold. Is it better to be on hold or not to have heard back at all?
Same question. I submitted 7/18, under review 8/3, haven't heard anything... assuming no news is good news at this point

I mean better than being outright rejected for sure and Tulane has been sending those out so.

I submitted on 7/15, under review on 7/29th. I haven't heard anything back yet, but I'm keeping the no news is good news mentality lol.
Seems like we might be hearing soon in the next couple days if we do get placed on hold or rejected.
I think the complete email means you are under review.
i appreciate the response! is this the "under review" email you got: We would like to inform you that your application is complete. Your portal will have a red exclamation point stating you are in progress and this will remain until you are assigned to a screener. Once assigned, the checkmark will turn green and your application is now considered under review. You will receive another email once a decision is made on your application. We thank you for your continued patience with the application process and we wish you success.
Yup! And if you go to the applicant portal it should also say you're app is ready in the status page.

Sorry I was wrong, mine also says ready! Apologies for any unwarranted stress I may have caused. I'm pretty sure regardless it means our application is under review. You should be fine.

I think they are really inconsistent with this, and I wouldn't worry. I received a "your application is under review" e-mail, but my portal never changed from "ready". Then I got an OOS hold, haha...so they were reviewing it the whole time, but my portal never changed

I honestly think Tulane is just very communicative regarding their review process. An "II hold" seems to mean they aren't ready to interview an applicant rn but don't want to reject them either. I think most schools have an internal II hold status they just don't communicate it to applicants. I assume if we haven't heard anything there hasn't been a determination made on our app (i.e. the assigned reviewer hasn't gotten to us yet)

This is my second time applying and a majority of schools will just ghost you until the very end of the cycle to tell you that you didn’t get an interview LOL. I very much appreciate the communication from Tulane

7/18 submission, and yes, I got that email... nothing else from them yet though

Yes, it was! I got 2 different emails—one saying that I submitted my secondary, and the other about it being "under review"/marked complete. Fingers crossed we hear something 🤞
