I am taking my DAT on August 4, 2017 and the earliest deadline to a dental school I plan to apply to is September 30, 2017. This gives me exactly 9 weeks and 1 one day to get my application in before the deadline. My question is to those who have previously taken the DAT, what was the turn around time like? I saw where it takes the ADEA AADSAS application 4-6 weeks to be processed before it can be sent out to schools and I saw somewhere else that it takes 1-2 additional weeks for everything to be compiled before it is sent to the school you apply to. So my question is do I need to already submit my application before taking the DAT then update it with my score immediately upon taking it? (I am also in physics currently so it would be ideal if I could wait until I could send my final grade with my transcript so I would not have to send it additionally).

Thanks for the help!

You can apply now. Then your scores will be sent once you take it and you have to update them about your physics course.
I haven't applied yet, I am taking the dat around the same time you are taking it, but I wouldn't wait until September unless I had too.
If you are not busy now, prepare everything to apply earlier.
