Did anyone else recieve an email nominating them for this fellowship? Just wondering about how many nominations they give out, and if only one person is awarded this. Because reading that email was the most exciting moment of my life, and I'm hoping that i'm not getting my hopes up for something that's unlikely.

From the pdf:
"We plan to award about sixteen new Turner Fellowships to exceptionally qualified incoming students for fall of 2008. We anticipate making approximately 30 offers to fill about twenty slots."

Ahhhh thanks so much!! I had that first link, but the second one i didn't have. That information is really exciting, makes me so hopeful!! I'm gonna go get working on that essay...not that i'm at work or anything hahah.
