I just got an e-mail this afternoon stating that I'm invited to interview - I can't describe how excited I am to have the opportunity to interview at Tuft's!

I know it's later in the cycle so I was wondering if anyone knows if I'd be interviewing for a waitlist spot or if there are still seats available in the class? Also I plan on using the interview feedback page as a resource but does anyone have a link to other threads that might be useful?

Any advice on what to anticipate would also be greatly appreciated!

Congrats. You're definitely interviewing for a real spot, and the interview feedback info was exactly the same stuff I experienced and was asked during my interview.
 
Congrats!! i got one too today. I was so happy i started crying! lol My first interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to both of us!

I mean i want feb 9th of course but i didnt get a chance to call- i just got home & saw the email 4pm pacific standard time.. ill wake up early & call tomorrow morning asap!!

Congrats to you as well. I'm one day ahead of you - February 19th. I'm hoping there are still seats in the class.
 
congrats to everyone who received interviews. I was wondering, when do you guys submit aadsas? Im still waiting for my first interview invite and its just getting really frustrating to wait. Again, congrats to you guys, own that interview!
 
I interviewed there yesterday, extremely laid back. They accept 70% of the class and hope to get a total class size of 170 or so I believe and they have received 49 as of yesterday. I am really impressed with the school and the South Station T was a 10 min walk. The staff was extremely friendly and make sure when u have to introduce urself you speak well.

Submitted July 3rd, retook DAT August 31st
going Feb 9th!!!!!!! ASAP lol oh i hope i hope & pray...:nod:

Submitted May 20... but I think in your case, I think it's more a matter of the number of schools you applied to... any GPA below a 3.3 means you absolutely have to apply to at least 20-30 schools.. erring on private schools with low GPA averages... You might still have a chance though since I believe some of the private schools might review your entire app more closely (including that great DAT score).

I don't know about that...I've got 3.1 overall 2.9 sci gpa...I submitted my aadsas in late july and i only applied to 10 schools. I've had 2 interviews (1 offered for january and 1 for the end of march) and 1 acceptanc. But then again submitting ur aadsas early always helps and so does applying to more schools....its just applying to 20-30 schools is ridiculously expensive (10 schools was expensive!)

anyways, congrats you guys! and to reiterate u def are interviewing for an actual spot. the interview feedbacks were spot on and you might want to bring paper/pen to take notes cuz the associate dean, mark, does an awesome presentation.

Sorry got one on the 9th, but i was there for the first time the first wek of January & minus the cold, i loved it!! Reminds me a lot of San Francisco. You must visit Harvard Square!

Anyone there on the 9th btw?

It's not a big deal. You can print out the secondary application online and bring it, and you can pick up the thick book either the day before or the day of the interview.

My interview is on Feb 18th. When I called to schedule I was told that a secondary application will be mailed (or emailed??) to me and I will have to bring this to the interview. I haven't recieved anything yet. somethinpositive said we can print it online, would you please post the link here, I can't find it.

Hi Polarbear!

If you can wait 😉, the supplementary application will be at the latest, e-mailed to you exactly one week before you interview date. But it will probably come to you in the mail sooner than that. Good luck!!

Hey Polarbear, I have an interview on Feb 18th too. I received my packet in the mail feb 6th or 7th so you should be receiving yours very soon. Keep an eye on the mailbox. Dont stress to much it literally took 2mins to fill out the secondary app. Hope that helps - and ill see you at the interview. Im excited! good luck!!! 🙂

My app was sent out on mid august and I still haven't heard from Tufts, not even a rejection letter. I know their website says not to call them for updates but should I call anyways? Its been too long........

What are your stats? GPA/DAT? Location? If you don't want to say here you can PM me. If they call they will say that same BS all schools say, "your file is under review by the committee"
 
My overall is 3.6, post-bac is 4.0, and 19 DAT. Well, UOP told me that my file is still under review so I figured that is what I'd be hearing from other schools.
