I'm a senior in college and will be graduating this spring 2007. One advice I have for highschooler is to attempt to graduate in 3 years in your undergrad and take ap classes. Because of this condense schedule, I was able to retain most of the science knowledge I learned in college. I didnt start studying for the DAT until winter 2005 during winter break. I purchased a Kaplan (blue) DAT book and started reading it. During spring I took the Kaplan course and bought Topscore. I did most of the subject test but didnt get to finish them all since I was taking biochemistry and biochemistry lab. After my finals, I did some hardcore studying for 3 weeks which consist of 8 hours of DAT review and doing practice exams. Topscored helped me the most in finding where my weaknesses were.
Biology: I used the Campbell book since it was my bio textbook for Biol I
Gen Chem: Sold me textbook so mainly use the Kaplan blue book
Ochem: Kaplan flashcards and Wade Ochem book
Didnt do much for PAT. Did every single Reading Comp that I had since it was my weakest area and reviewed Trig for QR.
Day before test day I just went and watched Over the Hedge with my gf and relaxed. Next day took the exam got my score and ate good food since I cant drink yet hahah
Hope that helps, Good luck to the rest of yall <--yeah Im a Texan ^_~
