Since there were some ppl that recently got 25, didnt know if ppl wanted to listen to my story. But here is a reply to passion4dds

My Results:
---------------------------------------
Perceptual Ability 20
Quantitative Reasoning 20
Reading Comprehension 20
Biology 22
General Chemistry 25
Organic Chemistry 27
Total Science 24
----------------------------------------
Academic Average 23 ^_^

I'm a senior in college and will be graduating this spring 2007. One advice I have for highschooler is to attempt to graduate in 3 years in your undergrad and take ap classes. Because of this condense schedule, I was able to retain most of the science knowledge I learned in college. I didn’t start studying for the DAT until winter 2005 during winter break. I purchased a Kaplan (blue) DAT book and started reading it. During spring I took the Kaplan course and bought Topscore. I did most of the subject test but didn’t get to finish them all since I was taking biochemistry and biochemistry lab. After my finals, I did some hardcore studying for 3 weeks which consist of 8 hours of DAT review and doing practice exams. Topscored helped me the most in finding where my weaknesses were.

Biology: I used the Campbell book since it was my bio textbook for Biol I
Gen Chem: Sold me textbook so mainly use the Kaplan blue book
Ochem: Kaplan flashcards and Wade Ochem book

Didn’t do much for PAT. Did every single Reading Comp that I had since it was my weakest area and reviewed Trig for QR.

Day before test day I just went and watched Over the Hedge with my gf and relaxed. Next day took the exam got my score and ate good food since I can’t drink yet hahah

Hope that helps, Good luck to the rest of yall <--yeah I’m a Texan ^_~

Great scores! Congrats! With your GPA and scores you should have no problems. 👍

WOW, good score. Congrats. 👍

I hate the RC the most, didnt do much practice test for RC first time, maybe that's why it hurts me at end, guess I need more practice for RC this time.

Very impressive scores. You killed it and I would imagine you are a shoe in for the college of your choosing.

Thanks guys!! Good luck to yall too ^_^ HC_smiles, u can add stuff such as ur stats to your "signature" when u go to User CP. And relaxing the day before DAT went well for me eventhough my gf kinda made me watch parts of "The Notebook" till 11:30 when i wanted to go sleep early lol. Oh btw, I reviewed the flashcards as my gf drove me to the testing center on test day. I would advise looking over ochem and stuff u have a hard time remembering ...for me it was the fetus heart stuff.. those big words.. 😎

LOL. Yeah, I did the same thing except study the Ochem stuff which I should have because I completely drew blanks the entire section. I just thought it was funny you mentioned the fetal heart, because I specifically recall trying to remember the "ductus arteriosus" and the "foramen ovale" as well before walking into the center.
