1. One of my letter writers is a professor who has a major administrative role at my university. When I enter in his information in the Letter of Evaluation section, in the Title section, I can't type out both that administrative title and his professorship title. Should I just list the professorship title fully, or should I use abbreviations to fit both titles in the space? I feel like a strong letter from such a high administrative person would help...so I'd like to point out that title. Any suggestions?

2. Another one of my professors taught a class that I took at my university but his lab (where I am working) is at a hospital not affiliated with my college. Can I still list his letter as coming from my school? If yes, should I make sure that his letter is on my school's letterhead and not the hospital's letterhead?

1) I don't think it matters. When the committee reads his letter they will see his titles in his signature. I think this is far more important than what is on the amcas printout.

2) Again I don't think any real bad scenario can arise. I would mark it from your school and let him use whatever letterhead he chooses. In his letter he will mention he taught you and it will clearly say on your transcript that he was an instructor of yours.
