I just took the AAMC 8, and it seemed predominately inorganic chemistry. Some of the passages seems like specifically background from inorganic chemistry. One of the questions where it was talking about the red litmus paper really baffled me, because I never refreshed on the color changes of the PH papers (since I have not seen it in any of the my test prep books). Just how much inorganic background knowledge do we have to have going into the MCAT, or do they expect me to use Gen. Chem logic with a questions like that?

Also, I was trying to figure out the curve on the last 3 tests (8,9,10). I am taking them on paper, and my access expired online, and I am just wondering if there is a curve for these is much for the standard deviation? At this point I just scoring myself... roughly... 33-34=8, 35-38=9, and 39-41=10.
