Hey everyone. I have two quick questions about two different dental schools.

1) Does Iowa use digital x-rays? I interviewed there awhile back and I cannot remember if they did or not. I am pretty sure they still use textbooks as opposed to everything on a laptop, but I am unsure as to the digital x-rays.

2) I have an interview scheduled at VCU and I was wondering if they offer in-state tuition after the first year?

I know these are random, but any info is much appreciated. Thanks all!

Nope. They changed the rule so that you can't go their just for school and claim in-state tuition (they jokingly said it was from all the Utah students who never stick around, but then again they may not have been joking). To get in-state tuition you would have to prove that you plan to stay there after school (e.g. buy a house, commit to working in VA after graduation, get an "I love Virginia" tattoo).

At your interview you will have a meeting with the woman who handles financial aid matters, so you can talk to her about everything.
