My parents live in Texas and I am at Harvard first year. When I apply to TX medial school, will I be considered TX resident or Boston resident

If your parents remain in Texas, a Texas resident. Which is excellent if you want to go to med school in TX, but not excellent if you'd rather go elsewhere.
  • Excellent because TX has lots of good to excellent medical schools with exceptionally low tuition and an exceptionally high preference for in-state applicants.
  • Not excellent if you'd rather go elsewhere because most OOS schools (except the very top schools) assume you'll choose to save $300K and stay in Texas.
