We started anatomy and so far the spinal cord, vertebral column, and musculoskeletal system (somewhat) is the most interesting. I think the spinal cord, spinal nerve innervation, and the vertebral column are fascinating. I know its still very early for me, but I had a few questions about PM&R. I have been told that PM&R is a relatively slow specialty, with patients very making progress very slowly. I want to know if outpatient PM&R can quicken the pace, and what procedures besides EMG can be done, please what the procedure is and why it is done? Also, how common are outpatient practices in Chicago (what is the market like here)?

I would like to have patients that I can help get better and see results, both physically and emotionally.

Any comments are much appreciated?

Thanks
