basically I am getting the sense that there are 3 types of research in medicine:
1) Basic science
2) Translational
3) Clinical
My Qs:
1) Which type impresses top med schools the most?
2) Which type is most accessiable to non-trad premeds?
3) Any examples of where one could do each?
4) If you've done any of the above during your pre-med years, could you explain it in lay terms what you've done, where you've done it, whether it lead to a publication and how long it took you at what weekly workload to get to the publication point?
