When do the first round of interview invites usually occur?

It's different for every school. As far as I know I believe the first interview invites generally start around August.

It really is school dependent. The first invites come around early August for interview dates starting in late-August and early September. I didn't get my first invite last year until early September and ultimately ended up receiving 10 in total and 6 pre-December. Be better than me and don't get too worried if you don't have anything until about mid-October!

Case said that they do it as early as August 12. But yeah it varies a lot.
