First Aid does not have tyrosine listed as both glucogenic and ketogenic. Any reason for this? I am looking at p. 106 of the 2013 version. Thanks

i would just remember that tyrosine is broken down by homogentistic acid oxidase (deficiency=alkaptonuria) into fumarate, which can enter the TCA and replenish OAA which can be used to make glucose.
