This question is geared towards people already at UH-COP...

Do you guys recommend any of these things...

Laptop
PDA/Smart Phone

and any other things that you think is necessary or a must. Thanks.

Also... I'd like to ask: is there any reference book on drugs (like the pill book I saw at Walmart) or any other pathophys reference book/ med dictionary etc. that you guys have found useful on the side to help studying? any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance

A laptop and/or PDA is not required...they're just for your own personal use. I've found a PDA to be useful to look things up while in lab. You wouldn't really need it until your 3rd year though. I recommend waiting until then since techonolgy is constantly changing.

UH subscribes to Clinical Pharmacology and Lexi-Comp which you will have access to. You will also be given a list of required books and materials later on.
