How many others just got the U Maryland Supp App?

Congrats on the supplemental...I haven't really heard anything from Maryland other than my app being complete. What's the supplemental like? Is it a ton of essays or what?

I got one too.. I'm out of state. Submitted 7/17 but my committee letter was mailed out 7/24

Interestingly, there is the option to submit a video with a minute and a half length.

From what other people are saying on the forum you get an interview invite shortly after you submit the supplemental. We'll see!

i received the supplemental app by email as well, are you going to do the optional video??

I'm not going to do the optional video because they state clearly that by not doing it your admissions will be unaffected.

I got at my secondary application on 9/23 and was invited for an interview the very next day. It great to see that they're really responsive.

Question...I know the supp app asks which bio and chem professors submitted LORs, but if I only did 2 bio profs and still got the secondary, does that mean they overlooked that fact? I hope so, because it has been a while since I had any chem classes (finished up orgo a year and a half ago), and I haven't kept in touch with any of my professors...

I didn't put anything for the chem professor since I didn't have a recommendation from a chem professor as well.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to send them anything.

They just want your AADSAS letters. You don't have to send them in separately.

Also, I didn't do the optional video. I think its a new thing they are trying to start, but the interviewers don't really use them yet.

Yep...got the supplemental on Tuesday, and interview invite this morning for Nov. 10th! 😀

Got the interview invite today for Oct. 28th. For some reason I didn't get the email, but they called me.
