And on a related note, when do you suppose interviews for OUT-OF-STATE applicants will begin?

Don't hold your breath for an Out of State interview. I went to UW for undergrad and didn't even get an interview. Some thanks for paying 80k in out of state tutition huh? Not that they don't offer interviews to out of staters, but they really do favor Wisco folks. I am a 2nd year at Northwestern so I guess it's time to move on and not be bitter huh? Oh what the hell... maybe I will stay bitter for just awhile longer.

as an instate resident, i actually received my interview before i sent in my secondary (they didn't accept regular decision secondary apps until sept. 1st, and my interview was like the weekend before that)

I hear by friday if I got in and I am not ED! I got my interview the second week of interviews, but I submitted all my stuff ASAP, and I have scores around their average (but I am not sure that matters).

As for uwcoxswain, do you know feinburg lol U-dub crew rocks

My invite was before the 1st, but my interview was the 10th, I wonder if that means anything...you should be hearing soon as well

they told our interview group that we could definitely find out prior to or on october 1st...(my interview group was about 1/2 early decision and about 1/2 regular decision...so obviously the earlies would find out, but it sounded like the regulars would, too)

my LORs haven't been ready, so I slacked on Wisconsin. Esp cuz of the 500 word essay basically a rehashing of my PS. I just haven't done it. Slacker. But now my letters may be ready soon (finally), so I had better get to work. However, I just discovered a couple days ago that they want a non-academic letter in addition to the committee and 2nd academic letter. aahhhh. That's what I get for slacking.

GOBUCKY, you'll have to let me know when you get that invite!
