School 1: UAB
OOS
Pros:
- cheaper tuition (~$76k)
- cost of living 1 bed/1bath apartments are about $1.5k
- I can have my car
- closer to family and SO
- pass/fail for some classes
- good opportunity to specialize
- great southern hospitality
- small class size
- student told me they have a high number of clinical requirements which i prefer
Cons:
- most classes are graded
- smaller city and don't know the city well
- required research (i'm not the most interested in research)
School 2: Tufts University
Pros:
- big city (i absolutely love boston)
- I know the city very well
- good opportunity to specialize
- health and wellness incorporated into curriculum
- global mission trips
- I have friends and distant relatives in the area
Cons:
- more expensive tuition (~$105k)
- cost of living studios are about $2.5
- moving from FL to Boston
- courses are graded
- i have never lived anywhere where winter is bad so IDK how that would affect me
- larger class size
- will not have my car
