Third year here, can anyone comment on these programs? Perhaps those that recently interviewed. I'm trying to figure out where to hone in on my audition rotations. Are these schools middle tier? lower tier? Thanks!

Out of these UAB really stands out. It's an upper middle tier and has great volume and sees a lot of trauma. I believe they have a strong fellowship match as well.

To chime in, UAB is a very strong program in the southeast. It should be considered a top tier US program. Lots of exposure to everything, good surgical numbers, and well-known staff (neuro-ophth, glaucoma, and retina come to mind).
