Without looking at their stats, I would bet that they ALL provide an adequate training to provide for fellowships.
But remember what you are looking for: academics vs private practice.
If you want academics, then you need to be shrewd in your choice (UAB over the rest) -- otherwise there is little to quible over.
If I were looking to go into private practice I would choose location, location, location -- remember its a buyers' market.
They all will have a high percentage of residents that cont. with fellowships, but it is YOU as a physician are the one that must perform in order to gain a fellowship.
No school will get you into a fellowship, it is only your will and hardwork that wil prevail. In addition, there is not a single IM program that had 100% fellowship for 2003. FYI.
