UB Skype Interview

Hi everyone! I have an interview with UB via Skype on Thursday. I've never had an interview through Skype before so I'm not sure what to expect. Can someone tell me about the UB interview? Are the interview questions pretty general? Do they ask about current events? What types of question did they ask on the writing component? Someone please help. Thank you very much!

Skype interviews are offered only to select candidates. The Skype interview is very similiar to the in-person interview.The purpose of the interview is to assess the candidate's motivation for pharmacy, understanding of the pharmacist's role in the health care system, potential to be a caring health care professional, ability to work effectively with other individuals and patients, communication skills, writing skills, leadership ability and critical thinking/problem solving skills. The admissions interview is a required component of the application process, helping us assess your interpersonal and written communication skills. It is also a great opportunity for you to highlight your problem-solving skills and outline your professional and educational experience.

The writing sample is a general topic to assess your writing skills.
