UC Berkeley Interview--Carpooling!

For those of you going to the interview...Congrats!
I'm going too and will be arriving at the Oakland airport at 12:30pm on the 26th. I rented a car, so if you are willing to chip in a bit (I will be paying about $145 for two days including the insurance & under age 25 daily surcharge and not including gas), then maybe we can carpool. My plane leaves at 3pm on the 28th, so if you leave sometime near then maybe we can work something out then too. Also, I will be exploring the Bay area the whole time I am there (looking for apartments, checking out local attractions, etc), so you can join for that too if you'd like.

I will be interviewing in Novca and was just curious don't you have to be 25 years or older to rent a car

Some companies allow you to rent a car if you are over the age of 21 but charge an extra fee.

i got your pm and yeah im totally game for that. i think my flight gets in after yours so you dont mind waiting? and unfortuantely my flight back is wayyyy earlier than yours but it's ok i'll figure it out. and i think my hotel is in walking distance of the campus - holiday inn. but im totally interested in the ride to the hotel and possibly exploring the area. ok let me know!
