UC Davis and VSTP

Did anyone else apply to the VSTP program at Davis? Anyone heard anything at all from them?

Sorry, but no. I actually applied to the VMOP. no word from Davis yet, but I would expect to hear within the next two weeks!

Is that actually a program? I thought that was just a supplemental (and optional) form one could fill out as part of their application package. If that's the supplemental form you're talking about, does filling that out mean that you hear earlier?? Or maybe you just mean hearing re: interviews.

WildZooVet, hoodle (who hasn't been posting on the boards for a while, but may still be around somewhere) is in the VSTP program. I remember her saying that they interviewed earlier than everyone else. In early to mid Feb, maybe? You might want to PM her, I'm sure she could answer some of your questions.

Yeah, last year hoodle interviewed the week before the rest of us found out if we got interviews, IIRC, and was accepted shortly thereafter.

Not applying this year, but next year I'll be applying to the VSTP!

Yes sorry...i guess i meant to say supplemental (and yes it is optional). My friend who also submitted the VMOP last year had 2 interviews at Davis (2 consecutive days). From what she said the VMOP panel has 5 to 6 people (including students).

so it's posted. interviews will be sent out between the 9th and the 20th and interviews will be held between the 23 of february and the 13th of march. oh please, oh please, oh please 😍
