We're a group of veterinary students from UC Davis in the finals of a national video contest. We would love for our video to be shared with your readers in some way. Even if the contest is shared (if you don't want to choose a school affiliation), we would really appreciate it.
About a month ago, the UC Davis FARM Club entered a national competition through a company called BCF Technology for veterinary medicine university organizations to win a new ultrasound machine and training course. This would be an invaluable experience for our members, and would help future students for years to come. Ultrasound education is very important in our field, because many large animal veterinarians rely on ultrasound machines to provide accurate and efficient diagnostic information.
The competition judges our knowledge, creativity, and desire for the ultrasound machine. The contest began with a photo round, then a judged written article, and is now down to the top 8 universities for video voting. We have created a music video that shows why we need a new ultrasound machine and our enthusiasm for veterinary medicine. We had a lot of fun creating it, and hope you have just as much fun watching it! We are excited to have this opportunity, and in order to win we need votes! We would really appreciate being featured in some way, as we are a not for profit organization completely student run, and we need to get the word out in order to have a chance at winning.
