I think the system is just down. How can it take a couple hours to update the status page? Unless their system is so inefficient someone's going through and making the changes by hand... which is difficult to imagine with 3000+ applications.

I agree. Their webpage was a bit buggy anyhow, hopefully they're fixing it.

what difference does it make if it is up or down? not like they post anything important there. i mean, don't you have to get an email before you can schedule an interview?

You are correct. Davis actually informs you of changes by email, unlike say... UCI.
