im so going to do my ucdavis app. i have some great material that i wrote up from other schools. hopefully by the time i fill out ucla's app...it will be a breeze...copy, paste, delete, insert, ha.

I got it a few days before summer school finals, so I put it off ... but once I actually started working on it, it took about three days.

me too.. ucd has had my primary for over a month so i'm not sure what the status is at this point... does anyone know the gpa/mcat cutoff they use to screen and also if it is the same as for the other UC's?

Most schools *supposedly* do not screen by numbers alone. just ask Boston University

i thought bu didn't screen...? but the reason i asked is because some of the schools say that they don't get all of the info in our amcas application when they screen. for whatever that's worth..

i meant postsecondary screening for an interview for BU. 😉

UCLA probably screens for numbers unless you're applying URM or disadvantaged, in which case they'll actually review your statements and the particular info they have on you.

UCDavis and UCSD,it seems, actually read statements presecondary for all applicants, regardless of your background.

Hence, whatever info they downloaded from AMCAS and specific screening methods do vary from school to school. Its best to just apply and wait it out.
