Hi all,

I'm considering taking my remaining prereq science classes at UCI extension program. My main concern is that I'll have last priority for enrolling in classes that I want to take (such as upper level bio courses).

Has anyone completed their prereqs through UCI extension? Were you able to get into the classes that you need? Any overall reviews about the program are appreciated!

Yes I took all my prereq at UCI extension. You will have last priority but most of the prereq classes are lower division so I'm sure you will be able to enroll in one. Maybe just not the one with the super easy professor lol. Having said that, I did take a good chunk of my prereq in the summer where its first come first serve when enrolling. The downside is you have to take those classes in 5 weeks instead of the regular 10. That may or may not be a good thing depending on the kind of student you are and if you have other comittments. Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm applying to UCI SOM this cycle!
