Thank you for that. Unfortunately most of that info is from over 10 years ago so not sure how much of it is accurate. Was hoping for both of these program's more accurate/recent info.

Con: they require USMLE. I'm still jaded and bitter. I grew up on the shores of Huntington Beach for goodness sakes.
Im not sure I understand? All programs require USMLE. Are you a DO? Maybe that's what you are referring to not sure.
What about the actual program? Im an MD so that's a non-issue.

Very very very few ACGME PM&R programs don't allow COMLEX by itself. UC Irvine is one of the few.

I got that you are upset over that. Do you have any specifics about the actual program other than the issue with USMLE, which does not present a problem for me.
i'll private message you, probably not best discussed in public
Hello,i'll private message you, probably not best discussed in public
I am a medical student aspiring to train in PM&R. I was looking into information about the different PM&R programs and I was wondering if you could give me some insight about UC Irvine. Do you recommend an audition rotation at this program. Also, would you say that they weigh research experience more than community service in their candidate applications.
I really appreciate your time.
