Is anyone familiar with UC Irvine? Anyone who interviewed there last year? It sounds like the applicants who interview on the 28th and 29th all attend the same reception on the 28th. Does anyone know if it's a dinner, whether it's with residents only, or if attendings are present as well? I'm trying to decide whether to miss the reception or cancel the interview I have the day before. I can't do both. Any advice?
