Hello all!

Just wanted to start this thread nice and early. I don't believe anyone has gotten an invitation to UC Berkeley School of Optometry yet this year but I am very anxious to know whenever they start coming out! Also, if anyone applied and is waiting please post here. Can't wait to get this ball rolling! 👍

Good idea on starting this thread! I've applied too and am anxious for the interview invites 🙂 From what I've heard in the past, I'm guessing they will go out around Jan 12 or 13. I'm trying to decide how much I want to torture myself and if I'll want to know if someone gets one before I hear something on my app...

I believe you get a rejection letter in the mail... but I am not completely sure.

I think either way we will get an e-mail. If it is a rejection letter then they will explain why one was rejected.

got the invite too, great excuse to drive to California! YES!! I suck at writing essays so my chances of being accepted are pretty slim. lol. hate essays

I'm sorry to hear that. Thank you for wishing us luck! Honestly I was pretty flabbergasted seeing as I'm Canadian and my GPA/OAT are mediocre at best compared to everyone else, so I don't think I have a good chance of getting in but we will see.

I wish you the best in any other interviews you may have been extended!!

I knew I didn't have much of a chance going in, but you never know right? Anyway, glad to hear the good news for you guys 🙂
