Hi Everyone!
I was fortunate to gain acceptances to two wonderful med schools, UCR and UCD. I wrote a list of pros and cons, can you all please HELP me decide!!?
UCD:
Pros: Med school students and staff are extremely supportive. Well-established, ranked above UCSD, USC, UCI, and UCR for primary care this year. The Dean seems amazing. They have a pre-mat program which seems essential because I have not taken anatomy.
Cons: Away from family for 4 years. I am from LA. Sacramento is ...?
UCR:
Pros: The under-dog but up and coming. The Dean is also amazing! They seem very supportive and EXTREMELY diverse.
Riverside is pretty cool. Close to home. Have friends and family in the IE.
Cons: less established.
What do you all think?
