UCF, UF, NOVA interviews/acceptance

Just curious if anyone has gotten interviews or acceptances to either UCF, UF, or NOVA (ft. Lauderdale). I have an interview for UCF on November 30th!
 
nole4dpt, mind sharing your stats? I applied mid-October and have yet to hear anything. 082807: As for UCF, they emailed me and asked me to send in my Physics II grade when I'm done in December. Guess that means I didn't get flat out rejected right?

I was offered an invitation to interview last week at UCF, After speaking with the admissions, they only select 100 applicants to interview, and narrow down the class size to 34 students.

UF does not interview, so we won't know about that until later.

Does anyone have any feedback on UCF interview process, such as question types and clinical case scenario portions?
 
I got accepted to NOVA as well! I'm not quite sure what to do because my UCF interview is on Nov 30th, however, I have to tell NOVA by Dec 5th what my decision is. I won't know about UCF by then and UCF is my first choice. What should I do??
 
Does anyone know if UCF won't offer an interview until grades are in for this semester's classes? I haven't heard anything from UCF yet and I am finishing up Physics II also. Is this why?
 
Monastn5- that's what I'm hoping. I'm in the process of taking physics II and they sent me an email saying I need to report my grade to them as soon as my grades are in.
 
Yea I got that email too, but it didn't say anything about not being eligible for an interview because of it. If that's the case they should have included that I think.

Yea I was thinking about doing that! Hopefully they can give us some answers. I definitely can't wait for physics 2 to be over haha.
 
ahh me either! i hate it ha and now i wish i would've taken it earlier so my application wouldn't be on hold (or whatever they're doing with it)! it's on hold at lynchburg too. but if you hear anything or i hear anything i'll let you know! please do the same!

Currently taking physics 2 and dvl psych, and I received an interview
 
hmm, then maybe i'm just on hold because my application isn't up to the par of others. would they still want to know our final grades even if they're not considering us?

still haven't. hoping to hear something after i send in my grades or after dec. 5th. i think i saw on a few threads where NOVA wants a decision by that date.
 
oh then you have plenty of chances! hopefully once we get our grades in, they'll let us know something. i'm borderline so i feel like getting in these two A's will help a little, but i guess we'll have to play the waiting game until then. i'll let you know if i hear anything!

Thanks!!! I bet you'll hear soon! The deadline for decisions from the first round is December 5th so I bet a bunch will go out after that.

Have you heard from UCF yet? How was the interview process?? My interview is on Dec 15 >.<
 
I dont know if this is a repost but I attended an open house at UF and apparently they do not do interviews. This is strange to me, has anyone heard of any other universities doing this?
 
Congrats jessser! When did you send in your app? Also would you mind posting stats? I'm hoping to hear something good soon.

stats: overall gpa: 3.62
pre-req gpa: 3.68 (according to ptcas app)
gre: quant 148, verbal 148, writing 4.0

dptillini or anyone else who has gotten in: do you know anything about the program? honestly i dont know too much besides what is on ptcas and their website. i am still waiting on a couple other schools but am very interested in nova and want to know more. lmk thanks!
 
also Monastn5: i remember reading a few weeks ago that you were at the LIU interview with me right? you had said something about that being your first interview. have you heard anything from LIU yet? I am still waiting on them...

My PTCAS was mailed mid october as well. Didn't get a chance to submit the supp app until mid november though. Well hopefully I get some good news. My stats seem similar except my less than stellar overall gpa. I was only able to get 92 hours in three different settings (hopefully this doesn't hurt me too bad)

overall gpa: 3.10
Pre-req: 3.68
Gre: 156v 159q 4.0

Overall GPA (PTCAS): 3.27
Pre-Req GPA: 3.09
GRE: 154V, 157Q, 4.0AW

Extra-Curric: over 400 hours of research in preventative care and public health, leadership positions in service fraternity, manager position in university housing, pre-PT club, volunteer with running clubs with grade school students, volunteering at nursing home

Volunteer: 288 verified hours, many different settings, majority in geriatrics and orthopedics
