UCI student here. I was wondering what I should do about the bio lab requirement for pre-reqs. UCI doesn't have any lower div labs. I am not a bio major so it's practically impossible for me to register for upper div labs. Should I take a gen bio lab at a CC?

There are some majors that are allowed to register for the upper div bio labs.

There are labs available for pharm sci majors that would satisfy the bio lab requirements.

For example:
PhrmSci 120L PHYSIOLOGY LAB and PhrmSci 174L BIOPHARM & NANO LAB

You can also enroll in upper division labs at the School of Bio Sci that are available to non-bio majors.

For example:
BIO SCI M118L EXP MICROBIO LAB and BIO SCI E106L ECO EVO LAB

Additionally, I would make sure to set up an appointment with an adviser to make sure you're taking the required classes for medical school.
