UCI Letter of Rec REQTs

It asks for 3-6 letters of reference but doesn't indicate what their nature should be, or at least as far as I can find...do you guys know if these letters are specific (i.e. 2 science profs necessary?) I just realized that we only have 30 days to do it, and mine is due in five days. I have 4 letters but only one of them is from a science prof of mine, so i'm kinda bugging out. Please let me know, those of you who have already done UCI's secondary. Thanks a million.

If, I would call them. They've been very nice each time I called them. Secondly, their due date isn't set in stone. You can still turn it in after the due date. They told me there was no penalty.

Yeah, don't worry about the due date; I was told that they don't even bother checking for that.

As for the letters, I called them about this three weeks ago and they said that you should definately have two science letters before submitting. So yeah, you need to get off your ass and get another letter

I'm sending my committee letter which includes all the letters in my file (3 science, 1 undergrad advisor in psych, 2 doctors/supervisors). I've tried to get my pre-health committee NOT to send all my letters to the schools that specifically ask for only 3, but they keep telling me that they've done this before and not to worry. I'm really hoping that schools won't discount me for this.

I love that they are not picky about the due date. I've been so stressed with the rest of UC's that have very strict deadlines that it's nice that I've been able to set UCI aside for a bit. But this weekend I'm going to finish it. I have 3 down and the 2 PRIME essays to go!
