UCL or Threshold Discomfort Testing

Does anyone know the procedure for UCL or threshold discomfort testing for speech and tones that doesn't involve the Cox Contour Test? For example, what frequencies are tested, is the signal presented constantly then increased? How the patient is asked to respond, etc?
