I am planning on taking 14D over summer session C. Have any of you guys taken this course over summer? Any feedback regarding the difficulty and content of the course will be appreciated.

Thanks

I know some people took it to avoid taking it with Hardinger, but he might be teaching it over the summer, I don't know. And I don't think he's that bad anyway, the thinkbook is pretty useful

I thought Hardinger was a really good professor...I hadn't heard about people avoiding him. I would recommend taking his class. Generally summer classes are easier than during the year, and 14D even during the year wasn't hard.

i meant that people sometimes avoid taking it with him, b/c he's considered to be hard

I took it last summer with another teacher that's not teaching this summer, I actually thought the class was harder than if Hardinger was teaching it. (I took 14C during the school year)

Best of Luck.

I had a friend in that class that complained about the low averages, and I looked over their exams and they were much harder. Hardingers averages are usually around 70-75%, whereas that classes was in the 50-60%.

You only get 6 weeks in the summer so you need to be ready to spend ALOT of time studying, im talking about no going out on the weekends at all and spending 5+ hours studying on your own a day.

Whats good about the summer is that it is your only class so you can focus on it, but I would not say that it is easier to take a class in the summer.
